For The First Time In My Life...

...I have had the word "nigger" hurled at me from the mouth of a white person. Here's what happened.

I was leaving a gas station waiting to turn left into traffic. Behind me was a white guy driving a black Chevy Tahoe. I guess he thought that I wasn't moving fast enough for me so he tried to go around me. As soon as he turned to go around me, traffic cleared and I pulled out into traffic. I had no idea that I had done something "wrong".

I get to the next traffic light to turn left to get on the interstate and the light is red. I was the second car in line to turn. I noticed the black Tahoe in the right lane next to me waiting to go straight. Just as the light turned green for both of us to proceed, he let's down his window and screams "NIGGER" and floors it away. Because my music was up, I could barely here him, but my eyes could read his mouth clearly.

To my own surprise, I burst out laughing as I made my left turn and laughed for about 10 minutes. I laughed because people still think that calling Black people that word still stings. It may sting to other people, but not me. That doesn't hurt my feelings at all. If you want to hurt my feelings, tell me that I the clearance rack at Banana Republic is gone!

Now I must admit that once I stopped laughing 10 minutes later, I did get upset. I didn't get upset that there are some people who just don't have a clue. They act as though the world still is and always will be ruled by white people. What gave that bastard the idea that he had the privilege to just go around me when I had the right of way. I'm sure if it had been another white person, he wouldn't have tried it. But my second thought was that I am glad that I don't own a firearm. I'm pretty sure that I would have followed his ass and done something regrettable.

But what strikes me as odd is that when I posted this on Facebook, I got a few comments that people feel like occurences of this type don't happen in their parts of the country. I think that people really need to wake up because racism and prejudice occur all over. Recognize and fight it and the world could be a better place.

I Have No Faith...

...in people when it comes to spiritual beliefs and I believe that I have explained why in at least one post or another. This was a thread on facebook that a "friend" of mine posted. The comments, although intended to be comical, just made my eyes bug out. Why are people so critical of other people's beliefs?

Now this is just fucking ridiculous!!!! She needs an ass-whooping, not to be faced with federal charges!!!

http://www.lemondrop.com/2008/09/22/boise-brings-soda-spiller-to-justice/?icid=200100397x1209759672x1200610110

Last month while accompanying her father, a disabled vet, to the VA Medical Center in Boise, Natalie Walters bought a soda from the cafeteria. After finishing her drink, she refilled her mug and went to pay.

The cafeteria has no set cost for refills, but usually charged her $1 or $1.50. This time, however, the clerk charged her $3.80. Walters was none too thrilled about the refill markup. After asking to see a manager and trying to return the soda, she refused to pay and proceeded to pour it over the counter.

We've all thrown tantrums like that, and no harm done, right? The U.S. Attorney's office thinks otherwise. Walters has been slapped with federal charges of larceny and disturbance, each of which could net her six months in the clink.

We generally don't advise crying over split soda, but in this case, it might be the only viable solution.

Excuse You

I'm at the gas station on Tuesday putting some air in my tires. I'm already non-trusting of people so I'm always checking my surrounding. In the corner of my eye, I see this young white dude walking up to me. He gets about 8 feet away from me starts to speak.

YWB- "Hey man, go get me a pack of Newport lights from the store" as he attempts to hand me money.

Me: "Nope. I can't do that"

YWB: "Why not"

Me: "Muthafucka I ain't going to jail for your young ass! Now get the hell away from me!"

Now, I wasn't appalled that he approached me for cigarettes in the least bit. What pissed me off was that the lil bastard TOLD me to go get him some cigarettes. Not asked, TOLD!!!!!!!!

Seriously like WTFis up with kids these days.!!!!!!!!!!!

Well Damn Shaq!!!!!!!!!

If you make this much damn money, why the hell do you have a car note and mortgages? No matter what people say about tax breaks, I would rather save money by not spending interest. If you buy a $300,000 home, you end up spending twice that over 30 years by paying interest.

WTF Was He Thinking

All of these homos around and he wants to suck a straight dude's dick. This dude needs some guidance for real.

The weekend incident came to light Thursday when Raleigh police released a search warrant connected to the case.
As a member of the tennis team and a stand out in high school, 19-year-old Dejon Bivens of Charlotte is used to having his picture taken, but the mugshot he took over the weekend wasn't voluntary.
Raleigh police charged him with crimes against nature.
Details of the incident were released in a search warrant. There was an off-campus party last Friday at the apartment of one of the tennis team members.

The player told police he went to bed around 3 a.m. Saturday and was awakened two hours later by Bivens performing oral sex on him.

Police arrested and served Bivens with the search warrant that allowed investigators get a saliva sample. He was released on bond that same day.

None of the tennis team members or the coach will comment on the incident though they know about the charges against Bivens.

N.C. State Athletics officials said they can't comment on the matter because of privacy laws, but as of now, Bivens' status with the team has not changed.

WTF Was He Thinking?????

Associated Press
Updated: 9:59 p.m. ET Oct 13, 2007

ATLANTA - Grammy-winning rapper T.I. was arrested Saturday — just hours before he was to take the stage at the BET Hip-Hop Awards — in a shopping center parking lot where federal officials said he planned to pick up machine guns and silencers he had his bodyguard buy for him.

The arrest resulted from an investigation that began this month when a federal firearms dealer contacted the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives about a man inquiring about buying a machine gun without registering the weapon as required, according to a criminal complaint filed Saturday in U.S. District Court in Atlanta.

T.I., born Clifford Harris, is charged with possession of unregistered machine guns and silencers, as well as possession of firearms by a convicted felon. Harris is in federal custody, said U.S. attorney’s office spokesman Patrick Crosby, who would not disclose his location.

After trying to buy several machine guns from an undercover ATF agent, the unnamed person began cooperating with the government and said he was buying the machine guns and silencers for Harris, the complaint said. According to the bodyguard, he had bought about nine firearms for Harris, and the rapper had given him cash to buy guns four different times, it said.

Rapper has criminal history
Harris brokered the deals through the bodyguard because he is a convicted felon, the complaint alleged. It is against federal law for a convicted felon to have another person get firearms on their behalf.

The 27-year-old rapper arranged to meet with the bodyguard Saturday to exchange cash for weapons, the complaint said. After the rapper’s arrest in the parking lot Saturday afternoon, agents found three firearms in the vehicle he was driving, including a loaded firearm between the driver’s seat and center console, according to the complaint.

Sydney Margetson, a spokesman for T.I.’s label, Atlantic Records, declined to comment Saturday afternoon before the charges were reported.

Home searched
As the Hip-Hop Awards were being taped in Atlanta on Saturday night, federal authorities were still searching T.I.’s home in East Point, about 15 miles southwest of the city.

Agents found six guns in a closet, including three allegedly bought by the bodyguard for the rapper last month, according to the complaint. Five were loaded, agents said.

T.I. had been expected to perform at the BET show, which is to be broadcast Wednesday, and was nominated in nine categories. Instead, the rapper was noticeably absent from red carpet festivities before the show began at 6 p.m., though he was at the center where the show was to be taped.

The co-chief executive of Grand Hustle Records won three awards at last year’s inaugural BET Hip-Hop Awards and received nine nominations this year, including CD of the Year, Lyricist of the Year and MVP of the Year. His sixth album, “T.I. vs. T.I.P.,” was released July 3 and debuted at No. 1.

Grammy winner
T.I. won two Grammys in 2006, including best rap/sung collaboration for “My Love” with Justin Timberlake. He also hit the big screen in “ATL” that year, and he has a role opposite Academy Award winners Denzel Washington and Russell Crowe in “American Gangster,” set for release Nov. 2. He also appeared in a commercial for Chevrolet.

In May 2006, T.I.’s best friend, Philant Johnson, was killed and three others were injured in a shootout after a party in Cincinnati. The killer remains at large, and T.I. was briefly locked up a few days after the funeral on suspicion of failing to perform community service stemming from a 2003 arrest.

T.I. grew up in Atlanta and was selling crack by the time he was a teenager. After years of hustling to launch his rap career, recording demos and shopping for a record deal, his first taste of success came with his 2003 album, “Trap Muzik.”

But the next year, warrants were issued for his arrest on probation violations for a drug conviction, and he was sentenced to three years behind bars. It wasn’t clear Saturday how much of the sentence he actually served.
