Cabin Pictures

I just want to say that the Blue Ridge Mountains are spectacular at all times of the day. Friday night we stayed up until 5:30am the next morning playing spades, talking shit, and drinking. It was a restful 3.5 days and I can't wait to do it again. Thanks God that it didn't rain until Monday when we were leaving.

It was nice to be with a group of 11 other Black and gay men and there not be any drama or issues. Well there was just a little, but we decided to just pretend that it didn't happen. One person decided to be petty because he didn't get a bedroom and had to sleep on a pullout sofa (That's what happens when you are the last to arrive). He waited until some of us took a nap Saturday afternoon and blasted music to wake us up. Then he took more than his allotted share of crab legs. But like I said, we decided to pretend that it didn't happen.

Here are a few pictures.

Welcome Back! I am pleased to hear that you enjoyed your get-a-way to the cabins in Blue Ridge. It appears that you enjoyed a good time among other men of the same caliber and status, yes it is rare that eleven Black gay men can get together without drama.

The pictures are nice and thank you for sharing them with us.

@Chet-No problem with sharing the pics. I'm not the best photographer, but I do what I can.

@Joey-That damn sure wasn't my Benz. I was not taking my baby on those gravel roads. I took the Explorer instead.

@Jaila-No bears, but lots of deer. Surprisingly, the neighbors were quite close.

Wow, when you said cabin, I thought you meant ...cabin. What you had looked like a royal mountain lodge retreat where walk about with 12 gage shotgun and shout "release the hounds." I am soooo jealous. But from the pictures, you looked like you had a great time and I'm happy for that.

Why do I have the suspicion the guy in the blue tank was the attempt at drama person? He just has that look like he's trying to start something..:-)

I add to the sense that the Blue Ridge and the Smokey Mountains are a great place to kick back.

Eleven of you is a bunch, but I most defintely can add to the sense of pleasure of being alive.
