Oh Hell No!!!!!!
I got on the scale today and it said 200lbs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Guess who's going back on the diet and exercise plan that he was on back in 2005. I have decided that 180lbs is where I was most satisfied with my weight. I have 20lbs to lose and 5 months to lose it.
The Norris Diet goes as follows:
Morning-Bowl of flavored low-sugar oatmeal with some yogurt and a glass of orange or apple juice.
Snack 3 hours later of a glass of water and a granola bar (I love those things)
Lunch-A turkey, bologna, or ham sandwich with some Lays backed potato chips and some flavored water or juice.
Snack 3 hours later of a glass of water and some fruit of some sort.
Dinner-a Healthy Choice dinner of less than 500 calories and water to drink
A granola bar if I feel hungry later in the evening.
Water, Water, Water-----No Soda or Sugary Drinks of any kind!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If I do go out to eat, I only eat half of my food and take the rest home for another meal.
This keeps me on average less than 2000 calories per day.
I was on this diet in 05 and it worked. I could SEE the difference not only on the scale, but in my measurements. Now once I get the eating under control, I can start working in the gym again.

I think we're all dropping a couple before the summer...I'm working on getting rid of 13 lbs. before June.
20 lbs / 5 months : 4 lbs a month, u can go the healthy way and make sure those pounds stay off, yay!!! u got my support.
whenever u need motivation, look for soldier lol
That's the very same weight that sent me back to the gym about five years ago (and I'm much shorter than you). I haven't regretted it since.
You can do it! Stick to your plan.
Get to it. You have a goal. Find motivation and be dedicated and you will be there in no time!
can I have the lbs you lose? my diet is as follows:
*breakfast - croissant, 3 pieces of bacon, bowl of cereal
*snack - random junk food (chips, candy, etc), fruit punch or soda
*lunch - n/a
*before work snack (i work 3 to midnight) - mountain dew or red bull and some skittles or chips
*dinner - some random fast food place I.e. mickey ds, wendys, taco bell, etc.
*late night snack - again... some random junk food
yes I know I eat like a pig, and while I know, this could effect my health (cholesterol, diabetes, etc) this is just a temporary thing until I gain about 15 or 20 pounds...
As much as I love oatmeal and fruit, i'm tryng to beef up, not lose any weight....
Good luck with your diet... as if you weren't sexy enuff.. lol
If you need an exercise plan that you can conduct on your own, may I suggest this?

I hope you enjoy the humor....
you can do it...just eat less and move more.
See....what this man failed to tell ya'll is that he's tall enough that this 200lbs looks damn good. We went to brunch today and this spot in midtown Atlanta and this fool starts talking about some diet. I'm like...wtf is there to lose.
I understand the who physical hang ups, though. Trust me, I do.
Welcome to my world. I was 219lbs last January, now I'm 198lbs and still trying to get down to 190. Sugar is my biggest addiction, sometimes I can even hear it singing my name in the middle of the night.
You seem to have a reasonable plan and as long as you don't have the same relationship that I do with the sweet stuff, you should be able to meet your goals.
Good luck anyway.
Well where in the same the boat...i'm an ex track star/military sgt. now; and my body is outta wack...started my work out plan maybe we can loose the pounds together im trying to get back to the body i used to be lol
you are tall (and sexy). you can handle 200lbs. i wish you well in your attempt to lose the weight. but, go ahead and work with what you got in the process.
You've created a good plan for yourself. 20lbs in 5 months - you can do it. The weight will be off in no time! :)
i thought you were already hitting the gym, no? and i don't know about you, but ain't no way for me to curtail my eating habits. i just hit the gym a bit harder to compensate. i have no eating will power lol!
